Bushcraft
2019 Goes bushcrafting
On December 10-12, 2019, Troop 2019 went on a bushcrafting campout. It was so much fun! We learned a lot of different things. We learned different kinds of knots, how to make a tarp shelter, how to make a fire without matches like the Native Americans. We had many options of other activities like hiking, friction fire with a bow-drill, and small trap building. We got to cook our own meals and some of them over an open fire.
We helped the land owner by performing a conservation service project where we cleaned up a lot of brush and deadwood.
We had tons of fun and we learned tons of things.
